Space, A Mix

—————————— August 29th, 2010 ——————————

I like the naïveté and wonder of a lot of older “cosmic” music, and find that it can work well slowed down and hardened up. Here is a mix I put together. Hope you enjoy it.

  1. rockin’…well…coolin’ out to Brian Park’s “nerd music from the past/future” http://www.thegreatestconversation.com/space-a-mix/

  2. Cool. I love space. I also love retro synth. But even before that: have you seen our Hammond organ?
When are you in Van? We have to jam!

  3. Against most of my expectations, I absolutely love this. Reminded me of a freeware game, Warning Forever – here’s a vid of it in action, ignore the music as it doesn’t actually have any: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXDFdoh–kQ&feature=related. Downloaded it today, played your mix in the background. Aaaaaaace.

  4. @Ryan, I definitely see what you mean about that game. Glad you liked it, even if you didn’t expect to.

@Robyn, I guess I have to head over to the mainland sooner than later. Let you know!
